Micro Model Various Models -Taxis Code 3
This model is a creation based on a vehicle that ran around in the Shitbox rally in Australia. The real version or versions were not exactly the same but the owner described what he wanted the model to look like. The bulbar and spare on the front was a first for me.

An Australian taxi company that operated in Australia. I have not seen a photo of a real FJ Holden version but based on other models I have imagined this is what one would have looked like. Decals created in house and a difficult two tone paint job. The FJ Holden is the standard version which most taxis would have been.
Another Australian taxi company and again I have never seen a real life version. I have done two versions reversing the colours on the roof and body. The decals and phone number are real versions of the originals used and the decals are made in house. The two tone paint work was less challenging than the Blue and White Taxi. Once again the Standard FJ Holden model was used.
One of the iconic taxi companies in Australia there are real life equivalents and models done in this livery. Not an exact copy it nevertheless closely resembles a real one.The three tone paintwork with all the curves proved a real challenge but the end result was worth it. In this instance the decals were made for me. The model ended up with jewel headlights but I never took a photo before it went to its new owner. This is an FJ Holden Special as can be identified from the rear tail light fin
