Diecast Models - Dinky Ford Fairlane Series
The third Dinky used as a Series of models. Again I commenced with a repaint as close to an original as possible and then created variations from there. . All the variations have been fitted with interiors and windscreens. Usually different wheels and tyres have been used to enhance the look. Two tone paint was nearly standard for vehicles of that period. All castings used were "wrecks" which made the project all the more satisfying.
Repainted in a colour very close to the original factory release. This model came with a windscreen and interior.
Chopped behind driver door and converted to a utility. The rear windscreen of the sedan joined to the back of the drivers door .A tray and wheel arches complete the utility. Painted and modernised with new wheels and tyres.
The sedan has been extended to a wagon and used as a hearse. Two coffins adorn the model which is fitted out to look as close to a hearse from that period.
Chopped and modified to a convertible. Fully repainted and with new wheels and tyres it translates into a fine looking convertible.
Repainted in two tone metallic gold and red. Flame decals applied. After market wheels and tyres added giving the model a total "overhaulin"
